About Brandon Johnson

The Founder's Corner
Founder, BlackAtlanta.com
Brandon Johnson is an Atlanta-based entrepreneur, operator, and cultural strategist who has spent over two decades building businesses, brands, and platforms that sit at the intersection of community, commerce, and culture.
As the founder of BlackAtlanta.com, Brandon is leading a new digital renaissance for Black culture in Atlanta—creating a platform designed to connect people to experiences, businesses, opportunities, and each other. His vision is simple but powerful: build a modern ecosystem where Black excellence is not just highlighted—but monetized, scaled, and sustained.
A graduate of Morehouse College, Brandon blends real-world experience with strategic thinking shaped by years of operating in high-pressure, high-volume industries. He is the owner of 404 Sports Bar & Grill, a 250-seat hospitality venue known for its energy, events, and community engagement, as well as multiple retail ventures including smoke shops and service-based businesses under The Johnson Brand LLC.
But Brandon isn't just a business owner—he's a systems thinker. Known for integrating technology, automation, and AI into traditional businesses, he focuses on solving real problems: customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. Whether it's building marketing funnels, optimizing restaurant P&Ls, or deploying AI-driven content strategies, his approach is always rooted in results.
Through BlackAtlanta.com and his growing digital presence, Brandon is now documenting the blueprint—sharing insights on business, culture, relationships, and personal growth with a voice that is direct, unapologetic, and rooted in lived experience. His perspective is shaped by being a father, a husband, a builder, and a man who has seen both wins and setbacks—and kept going.
At his core, Brandon Johnson is building more than businesses.
He's building infrastructure for culture.
