The Full 2026 Carnival Weekend Lineup
🎠 Children's Carnival
The weekend kicks off with the beloved Children's Carnival — a family-friendly celebration that introduces the next generation to Caribbean culture through costumes, music, and community fun. Perfect for the whole family.
🎨 Jouvert (Pre-Dawn Street Party)
Jouvert is the heartbeat of Carnival. Starting in the early hours before sunrise, revelers take to the streets covered in paint, powder, and mud, dancing to soca, dancehall, and calypso music. It's raw, it's electric, and it's unforgettable. This is for the real ones.
🎉 Submerge Cooler Fete
Bring your cooler, bring your energy. The Submerge Cooler Fete is one of the most anticipated fetes (parties) of the Carnival weekend — an open-air soca experience that gets the whole crowd moving.
🎭 The Grand Parade
The main event. Masquerade bands march in breathtaking elaborate costumes — feathers, sequins, and jewels — while soca trucks and steel pan bands fill the streets. Thousands of revelers fill Atlanta's streets for the Grand Parade, the signature event of Atlanta Caribbean Carnival.

Why Atlanta Caribbean Carnival Matters
The Caribbean diaspora in Atlanta is vast and vibrant. Atlanta Caribbean Carnival is more than a party — it's a cultural institution that connects Trinidadians, Jamaicans, Barbadians, Haitians, Guyanese, and Caribbean people from across the diaspora who've made Atlanta home. It's a reminder that Black Atlanta's story stretches across the globe.
